This is a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over the year before.

Canada is on track to beat Israel's tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since its official reopening for everyone regardless of their vaccination status in May, the country has already received more than 600,400 US tourists.
