NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% growth over 2019.

Canada is on track to beat Israel's tourism arrivals 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since the country's official opening to all travelers regardless of vaccination status in May of this year Israel has received more than 600,400 US travelers.
